Admission

In order to be admitted to the Ph.D. program of Selinus University School of Theology and Religious Sciences, candidates must be in possession of a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and receive a positive assessment of their CV. Stress is given on independence during study and research, which is why students’ supervisors will not actually be tutors as in common understanding, but rather specialized consultants for assistance to students, which are free to use any research resources they want.

The Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) by Research is the only Ph.D. that can be obtained via distance learning. It should be quite clear that any laboratory method or professional practice cannot occur online or through any distance learning system, therefore no other doctoral programs besides Ph.D. by research can be provided by Selinus University School of Theology and Religious Sciences. If the desired major is not listed among the options available, students can arrange with the Secretariat a different one, tailored to their specific needs. Ph.D. degree certificates are issued with Blockchain digital notarization.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is the highest academic degree awarded. Working freely and independently on their research, students will grow highly specialized knowledge and specific expertise to display in their final doctoral thesis. The Ph.D. is the highest educational qualification, possessed only by the best-qualified scholars and professionals.
