Selinus University is globally accredited by the WCI (World Certification Institute), a leading global certifying body that grants credential awards to individuals besides accrediting educational institutions and organizations. The WCI accredits courses and study programs delivered by universities, colleges, schools, professional institutions and training companies.
WCI has accredited Selinus University of Science and Literature after carefully reviewing, validating and authenticating its study programs. The World Certification Institute examined the following parameters: course content and duration, teacher qualifications and expertise, financial strength and integrity of course providers, available facilities and resources, delivery and assessment method and most importantly the titles relevance to professional and career development, in line with Selinus University's mission. The WCI Board has recognized that Selinus University's programs of study are up to global educational standards and conferred accreditation. University is not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Secretary of Education.
The accreditation process is non-governmental and it is a voluntary, self-regulatory process to ensure the academic quality of educational institutions. There are no worldwide accreditation standards. Accreditation does not correspond to legality or recognition, but is a non-governmental and voluntary quality standard. Selinus University's higher distance education is accredited by recognized bodies or members of private international bodies and meets the educational quality standards of these organizations.

The British Quality Foundation (BQF) is the leading membership organisation representing excellence and performance improvement in the UK. It is independent and not-for-profit and has extensive experience in helping organisations learn from best practice, improve their performance and achieve sustainable excellence.
BQF is an official training provider for assessors in the UK, offering the full range of EFQM products and services. In the early 1980s, governments and western industry leaders were concerned about the low level of industrial productivity and lack of competitiveness of companies. The BQF, with government support, established the UK Excellence Award in 1993.
In addition to running this new quality award, the BQF began to offer support to organisations of all sizes and sectors. These are organisations, including academic organisations, such as Selinus University and others, that want to use the Business Excellence Model, creating networking groups to encourage debate and knowledge sharing.

In February 2022, the Selinus University of Science and Literature was awarded the ISO 9001 quality management certification. A certification for which organisations must undergo thorough conformity checks by an accredited certification body and which attests to the quality with which Selinus University implements systems and solutions for its students. Since December 2022, it is also certified ISO 29990:2010 as an international university for the conduct of career-focused study programmes via Distance Learning for Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees. Selinus University Business Scholl is also certified ISO 21001:2018 EOMS as an International business school for Professionals, Managers and Entrepreneurs for conducting study programmes aimed at awarding Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).
ISO standards are defined by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and outline the requirements for quality management systems within organisations and companies in both the private and public sectors. It consists of a series of standards, which can be applied to various processes within organisations.

The goals of the AAHEA include identifying and analysing critical problems, trends, and developments in higher education and seeking constructive solutions; helping to coordinate the efforts of educational institutions and agencies at all levels; encouraging the improvement of professional work in all areas of higher education; and developing a better understanding by the general public of higher education and higher education as a profession. In pursuit of these objectives, the AAHE provides a forum for the expression of ideas related to higher education and public policy.
The Selinus University of Science and Literature is accredited by the USHEAC (United States Higher Education Accreditation Commission).
USHEAC is a non-profit, public benefit NGO in the State of California, USA. It serves as a cohesive entity that brings together higher education accreditation agencies, universities and colleges seeking recognition by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). USHEAC is a subsidiary of the California University FCE-Amorsolo Foundation Incorporated.
Acceptance by the California Department of Education, the California State Board of Education, the U.S. Department of Education, and several international universities is based on the evaluation of the curricula, academic programmes, and faculty credentials of non-accredited U.S. universities. The evaluation is an integral part of the university's documentation process for applying for regional accreditation, which precedes submission to one of the seven US regional accreditation commissions.
The achievement of accreditation by USHEAC indicates to the public that the Selinus University has met the rigorous quality assurance standards set by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Crucially, graduates of institutions accredited by the United States Higher Education Accreditation Commission (USHEAC) will receive California University FCE degrees equivalent to US degrees after careful evaluation of the courses. These degrees are comparable in level and purpose to those awarded by regionally accredited universities in the United States of America.
Selinus cooperates with the California University CFE for the issuance of the equivalent degree in the USA.
Thanks to this partnership, a validation procedure of the credits obtained allows Selinus University students to obtain the equivalent US Degree. California University FCE is a unified assessment organization that works in unison with other social service agencies, nonprofit corporations and associations. CUFCE helps US citizens and non-US citizens achieve their American dream.
California University FCE is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Act for public and charitable purposes and is subject to California Franchise Tax Exempt Status. It is registered with the State of California Registrar of Deeds. California University FCE has applied for and been granted a five-year renewable institutional registration by the Registrar of Los Angeles County, California, current registration number: 20100880209. Note:
Very rarely our students, that are managers, professionals and entrepreneurs, need to obtain licenses or transfer academic credits to/from other institutions; most of the times they already have a degree and are established professionals. However, in the United States, many licensing authorities require accredited degrees as a basis for licensing. In some cases, accredited universities may not accept non-accredited universities degrees for transfer courses and some employers may require an accredited degree as a basis for employment eligibility.
Selinus University respects the specific rules and regulations of each country and does not seek to influence the respective authorities.
